How to Request Account and Data Deletion
College Basketball Pick 6 Pool is committed to respecting your privacy rights. You can request deletion of your account and personal data through the following methods:
Email Request
If you're unable to access your account, you can request deletion by:
1 Send an email to propoolpicks@gmail.com
Make sure to send from the email address associated with your account
2 Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
This helps our support team identify and prioritize your request
3 Include the email address associated with your account
We need this to locate your account in our system
4 We'll send a verification link to confirm your identity
For security reasons, we need to verify that you own the account
5 Once verified, your account will be scheduled for deletion
You'll receive a confirmation email when your deletion request has been processed
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, we will remove:
- Your personal profile information
- Your authentication details
- Your entry history
- Your team selections
- Your activity logs
Data Retention Obligations
Please note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as:
- Records needed for financial reporting
- Information to resolve disputes
- Data required to prevent fraud or future abuse
- Aggregate analytics data that doesn't identify you personally
Deletion Timeline
- Email requests are processed within 30 days
- Backed-up data may take up to 90 days to be fully removed from our systems
Third-Party Data
Please be aware that authentication providers (Google, Microsoft, or Facebook) maintain their own records of your account. Deleting your College Basketball Pick 6 Pool account does not delete your data from these services.
